Art Exhibit in June 2016

In June 2016, in honour of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Serge Raynaud de la Ferrière, the East and West art exhibit will take place in Nice, France and Trieste, Italy, where a selection of art pieces of this sublime artist will be presented.

The sociological and anthropological value of his art works, which tried to unite the human experience in the evolution of history as well as in different areas and traditions in the world, gives way to a sense of union and intercultural closeness, based on tolerance by means of understanding and studying ancient and modern legacies and identities within the distinct cultures.

As an “incomparable painter” (as stated by Claire Duda, Director of the Renoir Municipal Gallery, Nice, France) and tireless traveller, the artist Dr. Serge Raynaud de la Ferrière travelled the 5 continents. Serge Raynaud de la Ferrière had the peculiarity of reflecting in his works, the styles of the places where he painted each piece. His high-level of culture and knowing, in addition to his profound knowledge of the diverse cultures, allowed him to penetrate into the sacred symbols of the East and the West, synthesizing them into his works and offering to the public a synthesis of the ancient teachings in a contemporary tone, adequate for the demands of the present and future.
